Saltimbanco
This performance, for a lack of a better word, was interesting. It wasn't my favorite performance but it was still pretty good. Would I recommend it? Well that's a hard question to answer. You see, some of the acts simply bored me to tears. However, some simply took my breath away. \
The show was spoken entirely in French (I think). Despite having learned French for more than half a year now, I still didn't understand half of what they were saying. After I watched the show, I went to the Wikipedia page of the show and it explained what the show meant. I guess it has a lot of meaning behind the costumes and everything. After reading the page, I somehow understood the show at a deeper level. I understood why certain characters acted as they did. I want to keep this spoiler-free, so I'll just leave it here.
Nothing much has been happening in my life recently. Of course, as I mentioned in my earlier post, things are getting harder due to increased workload etc. But what's really getting harder is coping. You see, when I was in primary school, I could watch hours of television on end and still manage to finish my homework on time. Now, with other commitments such as my French lessons, debate training and other stuff, every minute of my day has to be maximized or I would have to sleep at midnight every day. I am a self-admitted procrastinator and I know that I should probably pick up that pen and start doing my worksheets but I can't. I tell myself that I just need 1 more minute to do my work. Just 1 more minute... Which then turns into 1hour, 2 hours and then, as the clock strikes 9, I realise that I've shot myself in the foot.
