Hey Chicas,
Sorry I have not been posting for so long.....It is because I think we are having a little too much fun in Spain.I come home everyday after walking from 7am to 7pm every single day and I am dead beat.So I collapse in bed.Anyways,I have so far gone to Seville and now is in Granada.Let me tell you about Seville first...
Seville:
We arrived after a 7 hour plus trip in the bus.Bumpy argh and we were so sleepy because we woke uop at 6 plus in the morning to get ready for a early bus trip.In Seville we stayed in this hotel which was our most expensive hotel as it was owned by a company so yeah.In Seville we did practically NOTHING but that was where I got my notebook.Linkie to see it:http://www.paperblanks.com/us/en/collections/1/filtered?collection_id=258
Granada:
Ok we arrived in Granada after a 3 hour long trip that left me real dizzy. We then had lunch at the bus station which was recommended by our guidebook Rick Steves Spain 2010.Then we went to our hotel in the Albazyin which is v. dangerous after dark.Next day which is today we went to the Alahambra which was
the place to go there. Then we went to their local market near El Corte Ingles their 'Cold Storage' and the local market was so cheap but was closing when we reached so we didn't get to explore much. Then we ate at this place where a stupid bird shit green shit on my hair after I fed it!Damned thing!!!!Then we went El Corte Ingles and this woman at the fruits and potatoes counter saw Grandpa taking 2 potatoes and snatched it away and said no touch. But that was not the end of it.She even weighed it and expected us to buy!We dumped potatoes in the wine section.Tee hee.Stupid woman.Grr.Bully my family and YOU DIE!!!So we went back and cooked dinner and we had this marinated overnight homecooked pork chop...Mmm....
xoxo,
Nicole

So,we went La Abadia to eat dinner and we ordere patridge, suckling pig which my grandpa thought was more like 4 month old pig.I told him that the menue just said that it was 21 days of sucking mother´s milk not 21 days old probably. There was this wine that was 13.5% alchohol content and I sipped it and it BURNED my lips staining my teeth and my lips BLACK!!!As you know I only drink a bit(wink, wink)so I was saved from drunkness, unlike some other people in the resturant....

Toledo´s roads are roads that are like a ROLLERCOASTER!!!I bet I´m gonna lose weight after this! The roads are terrible.....Its either steep up or steep down.Anyways apparently this place, back in the swashbuckling days, was famous for their swords. So now there are still many sword shops around.Shopping isn´t like it is in Madrid cos got very little shops of H&M or whatever. As a reply for D´s comment,Desigual is still SUPER expensive here even in the outlets. One dress that I liked was abt 100 SIN dollars!Anyway tonight we are going to a locals fav. bar called La Abadia.

Hi!Its me blogging all the way from Spain the land of flamenco!Well the start of my trip wasn't just daisies and sunshine(considering the temperature it should be icicles and snow),there was some bad things too........
Like being stuck in Milan during transit for one whole day and my Grandparents and JY yiyi stuck in London freezing their toes off because they didn't have thier jacket!!(We were carrying their luggage 4 them)Thank god they provided 3 meals and a hotel to sleep in.(The airport hotel,Sheraton)At least that was better than poor JY yiyi and Grandparents. No meals and stuck at the basic hotel,Holiday Inn!
Anyway the second day the reason that we were stuck in transit in the first place(workers on strike) stopped. So we went to Barcelona. But then after only a few hours of shopping we had to go to the airport again to go Madrid where I am posting this now.
More soon!
